How to recruit warriors?

To assemble your city guard, you'll need to recruit warriors. Access the "Army" tab at the bottom of the game screen (fifth from the left). This will open a window where you can manage your troops.

While the upper part of this window displays your lords, who can lead your army, we're primarily interested in the "Warriors" section. Initially empty, this section will need to be filled with new recruits.

To recruit warriors, click on the gray portrait with a plus sign. This will open a table where you can select from several options:

• Prisoners: Enlist captured prisoners into your army. This can be a strategic choice, especially if they have combat experience. Conscripting a prisoner grants them freedom, which significantly improves their morale. However, consider their loyalty and any potential risks associated with incorporating former enemies into your forces.

• Peasants: Recruit from the peasant class. While this can be a source of fresh troops, the prospect of warfare can negatively impact their morale. How to organize a guard patrol?
