How to Beat the Wandering Wight in Black Myth Wukong

Wandering Wight is one of the more challenging, early-game mini-bosses in Black Myth: Wukong. He has very high HP and strong, quick moves that can wipe out Destined One in no time if played recklessly. You will need a strategic approach and well-timed dodges against this tough opponent.

Black Myth Wukong Boss Guide: Wandering Wight

Wandering Wight is an extremely formidable boss in the early stages of Black Myth: Wukong. Though he is optional, the rewards and experience one gets from defeating him are quite valuable.

How to defeat Wandering Wight: Before: Defeat the three enemies that lead up to the boss arena to fill out on focus points. At the very start of the battle, when entering in the arena, do a focused charged heavy attack to send the Wight into sort of a "crying" state. Get a Combo Follow up with a light combo. If done right, you might even stun the Wight.

Keep at a distance, dodge: The most dangerous attack this Wight does is a series of ground-pound AOEs. Avoid these by hopping backward or using a perfect dodge for focus.

Attack Interruptions: Focused heavy attack breaks the Wight's attack chains.

Watch out for Energy Palm Attacks: They're Projectiles, so avoid 'em; they do a good deal of damage if they hit.

Use Transformations and Spells: Defeat Guangzhi for his transformation, which gives extra health and powerful attacks. The Immobilize spell will also help in hitting charged attacks.
