Here's a step-by-step guide to help you learn all the soft targets in Ready or Not.

Ready or Not is taut with heart-pounding tactical action that forces players to take split-second decisions to neutralize threats. However, doing more than just threat neutralization is what gets one the highest ranks in Ready or Not—it demands uncovering and completing Soft Objectives. This guide will equip you with the knowledge to excel in every mission.

All Soft Objectives in Ready or Not

There's more to Ready or Not than meets the eye. In addition to primary mission objectives, there are optional ones called Soft Objectives. These can be very easy to miss unless you actually know where they are. Thankfully, though, we've got you covered with a list for help on completing everything.

Thank You, Come Again!

There is only one optional objective in the "Thank You, Come Again" mission, and that is to find a wounded veteran and call him in. He'll be in a critical condition next to the diner area, on the other side of the gas station building.

23 Megabytes A Second

23 Megabytes a Second The mission contains three optional objectives. The first requires you to breach open the doors on the second floor, then find the server farm. When you find it, call it in to command. The second objective is to enter a streamer's room on the third floor. In here, you will find the streamer's PC along with a rather disturbing stash of illegal images concealed within the nightstand. Call this in to complete the final optional objective.

Twisted Nerve

Twisted Nerve has two side quests available to the player. One is a stash of cash, while the other is an injured civilian. Both are located in the starting building, on higher floors, so the entire building needs to be explored to complete these side quests.

The Spider

Unlike other missions, The Spider does not include any optional objectives, allowing the player to focus solely on the primary mission at hand without various distractions.

A Lethal Obsession

Lethal Obsession provides only one main objective: recovery of the Federal Documents. These can be found quite easily upon entering the building. Be careful around the doors as the enemy has placed deadly traps on them. Retrieving the documents successfully and then reporting on your findings completes the mission.

Ides of March

Unlike other missions, the Ides of March does not have any optional Soft Objectives. Therefore, players do not need to worry about any additional tasks to perform within the scope of the mission and can be more concerned with the core requirements of the mission.

Sinuous Trail

In this instance, there are no traditional Soft Objectives in Sinuous Trail, which means an S ranking will have to be attained with regular gameplay.

Ends of the Earth

Ends of the Earth has only one Soft Objective: a fat sack of cash on the second floor. The room that players must access to receive this is, however, a very common ambush point for enemies, so they will have to tread with care.

Greased Palms

Greased Palms has two bonus objectives that are important for getting an S rank. By utilizing the postal vehicles for cover, players must sneak around the outside of the building to find a stash of hidden weapons. A trail of blood leading into the Post Office from outside will also reveal a dead body that the player must find and report to fulfill the second objective.

Valley of the Dolls

This is probably the most disturbing mission in the game for Valley of the Dolls. It has two main objectives: checking out suspicious videotapes on the first floor and the extremely grotesque basement that is only accessible from the outside of the house.

Elephant

While there aren't explicit soft objectives, atmospheric tension and psychological affectation are palpable in Elephant. This mission stands as perhaps the most unsettling experience in Ready or Not and becomes a nail-biting experience in its own right.

Rust Belt

The Rust Belt map hosts an advanced operational environment with various objectives sprawled across it. Your mission begins by recovering the passports located in the first house. From here, you'll proceed deeper into the maze-like tunnel system. If you stay on the winding paths, eventually you'll run into the barge, which is another primary objective.

Sins of the Father

Sins of the Father does not have optional objectives and is entirely linear, so merely complete those mission goals necessary for the story to advance further.

Neon Tomb

Neon Tomb is a clean mission with no secondaries to distract you, so thoughts of survival and how one can progress come into play while moving through this desolate landscape. Much like the haunting atmosphere found in Elephant, you are pretty much banking on gut instinct and wit to get you through Neon Tomb.

Buy Cheap, Buy Twice

Beneath the veneer of a legitimate used car dealership lies the mission "Buy Cheap, Buy Twice," and with it, a much darker underbelly. In addition to the main mission is the dual threat of a concealed office running human trafficking activities in which sensitive records are being destroyed and a number of hidden weapon and cash caches located around the dealership's garages.

Carriers of the Vine

Carriers of the Vine is probably one of the weirdest missions in Ready or Not. The entire mission features only a single Soft Objective. Players are tasked with deliberately and tediously sweeping through the first house on the back right side of the map for crucially important Conspiracy Evidence. However, due to the fact that cult members have the habit of dressing some hostages similarly, target identification will be tricky and requires extra care.

Relapse

This mission does not feature any Soft Objectives like the others. The player only has to complete the core mission objectives to the best of their ability in order to achieve an S Rank.

Hide and Seek

The last mission of this game involves the finding of five soft objectives. Now, one of these is actually hidden in a rather weird place. So, before you enter the warehouse, you will find yellow shipping containers with white spiders on it. Open them and check their interiors for the following:

Drugs

Weapons

Women

After opening and reporting these things, remember to close their doors. One of the soft objectives is to close the doors on the yellow shipping containers. You'll get a radio call mentioning you to do this. The final soft objective can be found inside Hangar 13, toward the back of the map. Go inside, clear any hostiles, and look for a red shipping container with a white spider on it. Enter inside and report the auction house.

Understood the general categories of soft objectives, one should be better placed in using effective search strategies in locating and completing these optional tasks.
