How to Get Sobering Stone
You will need the Sobering Stone to resurrect the Drunk Pig. There are two ways to get it, and both of them involve really challenging fights.
First way - by completing side quest. If you encountered a man trapped in the Fright Cliffs, he will ask you to kill Mother of Stones, who is located in a cave near the Rockrest Flat Shrine. This very powerful enemy is surrounded by minions; defeat them first. Having defeated the Mother of Stones, return to the entombed man. Beware, though, of his betrayal. Defeat him again, and his shop will be unlocked where you can buy a Sobering Stone for a hefty price.
Alternatively, if you want to get one for free, defeat the Tiger Vanguard. To the northwest of the bridge that takes you into the next village is a small shack. In this shack will be a glowing pot with the stone.
Now you have a Sobering Stone, return to the Drunk Pig. After waking him up, he'll be hungry and wishes to meet you at the Tiger Temple.

On the right from the entrance to the Tiger Temple, before entering the boss arena, you will find a Drunk Pig. Interact with him to advance your quest. He will ask you to bring him Jade Lotus Seeds, which you can collect in the ponds in the first and second chapters of the game.
