Once Human hosts the collection of various resources, including flora, fauna, minerals, and ores; all of these are very essential to crafting. Among these is one special but elusive good: mushrooms. These fungal treasures make up part of many crafting recipes.

Although mushrooms may be hard to find, there are specific locations that a player is likely to get large quantities from. For more consistent harvesting, you might want to establish your private mushroom farm. By gathering mushroom seeds and using planter boxes in your territory, you will have a constant flow of the valuable resource. Here's how you can find and farm mushrooms most effectively in Once Human.

How to Find Mushrooms in Once Human

While high level plants such as Aloe Vera are few and far between in Once Human, the same can't be said for mushrooms. They spawn in swampy or heavily vegetated areas, but as with most harvestable resources in the game, they often do so in small, spread-out clusters instead of large ones.

There are two primary places to search for mushrooms. First, west of the Sunbury Middle School Teleportation Tower is a cave system in Broken Delta that is literally a cave of plenty in mushrooms. Second, by the train tracks along High Banks, a far more dangerous but less dangerous route, respectively. This area contains plenty of mushrooms but also other invaluable plants like Saffron.

If you are strictly interested in harvesting mushrooms, the best return for time invested will be around the Sunbury Middle School area. If you want a more diversified plant yield, with the bonus of some mushrooms, High Banks is a better location.

How To Use Mushrooms

Mushrooms are only a universal material with so many uses in Once Human. For a new player, they will be so useful in terms of survival and at least setting up the base for a farm. They are also used in making fertilizer, which only the growers of deviated crops can do without.

Growshroom Deviation can be obtained by farming the rare variant through harvesting mushrooms in Once Human. You can quickly farm this precious resource by going to these locations and looking out for the clusters of mushrooms.
