If you don't know how to fix Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Ultrawide here is a guide that will help you with it.

Ubisoft Montpellier's critically acclaimed Metroidvania, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, finally arrives on Steam following its successful launch earlier this year. This brilliant adventure quickly became a standout title for us, and we're excited to see it reach an expanded audience via Steam. Although the game received quite a number of updates since going live, native ultrawide monitor support was not one of them. The nice thing is that the dedicated widescreen community comes to save the day once again, thanks to a patch by p1xel8ted providing that much-needed ultrawide compatibility.

How to Fix Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Ultrawide

Though Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown doesn't natively support ultrawide monitors, the resourceful Widescreen Community stepped in. There's a patch created by p1xel8ted that offers a solution, although not without one slight drawback.

Installation:

Go to  GitHub

Download "01.PrinceOfPersia_v0.1.4_CustomBepInEx.zip" from the "Assets" section.

Extract the downloaded zip file to your game's installation directory.

Important: Note that the game must be run in Fullscreen for this patch to work correctly. Since this patch does completely disable the map fog, with this patch applied, ultrawide resolution is enabled. While this is currently the best solution, it is far from perfect.

Patch Features

The ultrawide patch adds a number of enhancements to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. This includes enabling support for a much greater range of resolutions and aspect ratios, improving UI scaling, and providing options on how the UI is positioned, display selection, and even map fog removal. Options are available to retain the 16:9 aspect ratio for those who prefer the standard UI layout.

While this patch works, it's worth mentioning that achieving this diminishes the map fog, which is necessary to reach the target of an ultrawide display. Guided Mode could help in this respect in order to keep track of explored areas.

The configuration file of the patch can be edited for further customization. It is located in the installation folder of the game: BepInEx/config/p1xel8ted.princeofpersia.ultrawide.cfg. To uninstall, simply delete the extracted files.

This community-made solution works for now, but one really hopes official support for ultrawide will be added in updates to come.
