Pillar Activation: Initiating the Unstable Rift

Scattered Pillars: Unstable Rifts become accessible upon activating three specific pillars concealed throughout the Urzikstan map. While their precise locations randomize with each game, specific areas exhibit a higher probability of harboring these pillars.

High-Probability Zones: Strategically search the vicinity of Dark Aether Rifts (particularly the one granting Mags of Holding), alongside designated grid coordinates like F5, E4 (Tier 3, near Golden Mask Filter Rift), F6 (Bad Signal portal), and the area between F3 and F4 (large Tier 3 building).

Additional Search Areas: Other locations with potential pillar spawns include D4 (mid-road, Urzikstan Cargo), E3 (Urzikstan Cargo entrance), H4 (Tier 2, Low Town exterior), D5 (football field parking lot), E7 (Zaravan Suburbs parking lot near highway), B5 and I5 (Exfiltration points), H5-H6 marketplace, and the south of Shahin Manor (H7-H8).

Matching Ammo Mods: Each pillar displays a symbol corresponding to a specific weapon ammo mod: Brain Rot, Cryo Freeze, Dead Wire, Napalm Blast, or Shatter Blast. To activate the sealed pillar, players must equip a weapon imbued with the corresponding ammo mod.

Recommended Team Composition: A well-coordinated team of three to six players is highly recommended. Ensure everyone wields their most potent Pack-a-Punched weapons, Legendary Aether Tools, and other beneficial schematics.

Escalating Intensity: With each wave, the intensity escalates with an influx of Special Infected. However, each wave rewards players with a Rift spewing valuable items like killstreaks and self-revive kits.

Rewards and Completion

Mark of the Survivor: Successfully navigating all five Unstable Rift waves grants you the coveted Mark of the Survivor weapon camo. Additionally, all item and loadout cooldowns refresh.

Expedient Search: Utilize vehicles or Scorchers to expedite pillar location during the initial activation phase.
