In the article of the day we will show you How to repair duplicate sent items in Outlook mail in iOS 13.

Several users have experienced the same problem with Outlook.com email account. These sent emails are not duplicated in the server folder. This means you don't have to worry about running out of the 15 GB of Outlook storage offered to free users or the 50 GB of Outlook storage if you have Microsoft 365 Family and Microsoft 365 Personal subscriptions.

But despite this, it is frustrating to have to delete email sent twice. Because if this continues, there will be twice as many items in your sent messages folder. That's why today we bring you a solution so you don't worry about this.

How to Fix iOS 13 Mail Outlook Duplicate Sent Items

Understanding the Issue:

The cause of duplicate sent items is likely a compatibility issue between the iOS 13 Mail app and Outlook. This could be due to a software bug in iOS 13 or conflicting settings between the two platforms.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Here are several steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Disable "Always BCC Myself" Feature (Outlook.com):

Access your Outlook.com account through a web browser.

Navigate to Settings and locate the "Always BCC Myself" option. If enabled, disable it. This feature might be creating duplicate entries on your iPhone.

Adjust Mail Fetch Settings:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Go to "Mail" and select your Outlook account.

Under "Fetch New Data," consider changing "Push" to "Fetch" and selecting a preferred fetch schedule (e.g., hourly). Constant syncing with push notifications might contribute to the duplication issue.

Perform a Device Restart:

A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches. Follow the standard procedure for restarting your iPhone model.

Remove and Re-add Your Outlook Account:

Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.

Select your Outlook account and tap "Delete Account."

Re-add your Outlook account following the on-screen instructions. This can refresh the connection between your Mail app and Outlook.

Important Update:

Update to iOS 13.3 (or Later):

Apple addressed the duplicate sent item issue in iOS 13.3. It's highly recommended to back up your iPhone before updating (Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Backup).

Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download & install iOS 13.3 (or any later version available).

"

With these steps you should be able to eliminate the issue of duplicate sent items in iOS Mail with your Outlook account. Updating to iOS 13.3 (or later) is the most likely solution, but the other steps can help resolve potential configuration conflicts.
