VIDEO Adobe Festival of the Impossible 2019 TV commercial 2019 • The Festival of the Impossible (FOI) is a three day event celebrating immersive artists who are pushing past the boundaries of reality to bring “impossible” creative visions to life. This year’s theme – Human-Machine – explored how immersive media is ushering us into a new era of co-creation and storytelling. 00:00 (upbeat music) 00:03- Immersive is gonna change the way we create art 00:05 because it's redefining the relationship 00:07 between the creator and the audience. 00:11 - For me, interaction goes hand in hand with making art, 00:14 and in this immersive age we all wanna interact with things 00:17 in a different way, and so I'm hoping to make people 00:18 think about those interactions through my artwork. 00:20 - Maybe this exhibit will just create 00:23 a different perspective in our day to day life. 00:25 We can zoom out, and see who we are in this planet, 00:30 with a more, like, long-term perspective. 00:32 - As a Body Architect, I'm interested in using storytelling 00:36 to predict and test futures, 00:39 as a way of hovering the imagination 00:41 and ask important questions. 00:44 - I think AR has the potential to completely make technology 00:48 and computing far more invisible than it is today. 00:52 - What interaction does is that it takes the experience 00:55 from a passive one to an actual collaborative experience. 00:59 The artist now creates an actual playground 01:02 to co-create with their viewer. 01:07 - [Lucy] Art, merged with technology and science, 01:10 is such a powerful way to imagine where are we going. 01:14 - [Camilla] It's opening up a platform 01:15 for collaboration between viewers. 01:18 - Technology will be omnipresent, 01:20 but hopefully, if we do it right, it will be invisible. 01:23 - The line's gonna disappear, 01:24 between what we consider traditional fine art 01:26 and immersive or interactive art.- advertisement spot 2019
