Vw engages in a wager with customers to see who can spot the new car models in an upcoming commercial
Will one of these ID.Buzz sales come from that hamstring? Probably not, and VW is arguably making a wise bet that our market doesn't need another minivan with the strengths of the existing crop, but a machine that goes in a completely different direction. If you think of the ID.Buzz as more of an SUV than a minivan—more of a lifestyle statement than a ruthlessly optimized family vehicle—then it's in the spotlight. We already have four minivans dedicated to maximum utility. It's okay to have someone who's just a dream come true.
The Volkswagen Crafter's most obvious competitors are the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and the Ford Transit, although buyers should also consider the MAN TGE, a rebranded version of the Crafter, built at the same factory but sold and maintained through MAN's truck network .
The commercial features many different car models that are difficult to distinguish from one another
This information does not refer to an individual vehicle and is not part of the offer, it is only used to compare different vehicle types. Additional equipment and accessories (add-ons, tire specifications, etc.) can change relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, affecting fuel consumption, power consumption, CO2 emissions and the vehicle's mileage in addition to weather and traffic conditions and personal driving behavior.
It's also hard to imagine how the ID.Buzz could accommodate a third row that folds into the floor, another minivan we've offered in the market. With its rear-mounted engine and barely any overhang behind those big wheels (the car we drove was 21 inches), where does the third row go? One has to admire Volkswagen's commitment to the aesthetics of the concept car, but the ID.Buzz's lack of compromise on the outside also comes with a necessary downside, as function follows form.
Vw is betting that its customers will be able to notice the new models

For this reason, VW pays close attention to the van's usability - the ergonomics of the cab and the lower height of the load floor sill - and the so-called "total cost of ownership". (TCO), resulting in significantly improved fuel economy and extended service intervals up to 30,000 miles.
