You’ll explore the arboretum and the Great Lawns along with some of Chris’s favourite places. You’ll also learn about the history of the gardens, which plants do well and more about the restorations that are taking place across this Edwardian garden.
These Grade I-listed gardens were commissioned by horticulturalist and owner Reginald Cory and designed by Edwardian garden designer Thomas Mawson in 1906. Together they worked to create the gardens, which follow the theme of experimentation.
