Cleaning your espresso machine shouldn’t be a chore. With our ‘Clean cycle’ function, your machine will automatically clean the shower screen and flush the group head for you.
Directions:
1. Insert the single shot basket into the portafilter. Place the grey silicone cleaning disc into the basket and place the cleaning tablet into the center of the disc.
2. Insert and lock the portafilter into place in the group head. Ensure that the water tank is filled with cold water to the MAX line and the drip tray is empty.
3. Press the ‘Menu’ button and rotate the ‘Select’ dial until ‘Clean cycle’ and ‘Push’ are displayed on the LCD screen.
4. Press the ‘Select’ dial to begin the cleaning cycle. The LCD will display a countdown timer to show the remaining time left of the cleaning cycle.
5. When the cleaning cycle has finished, remove the portafilter and ensure the tablet has completely dissolved. If the tablet has not dissolved, repeat the steps above until it has done so.
6. Rinse the portafilter and filter basket. Dry thoroughly before using.
