When it comes to making great tasting coffee, back flushing plays an important role in keeping your machine clean and your brew balanced and flavourful. We have created this five-step tutorial on how you can perform a clear water backflush to help you get rid of the built-up grinds and left-over oils in your Oracle™ Touch espresso machine.
Directions:
1. Empty the drip tray and locate the grey silicon cleaning disc supplied with your machine.
2. Place the disc into a 1 cup filter basket and insert the portafilter into the group head.
3. Press the ‘Brew’ button to start the flow of water into the portafilter.
4. After around 20 seconds, stop the shot which discharges water into the drip tray.
5. Repeat these actions 3-4 more times for optimum results.
