This is your vehicle’s 24-hour personal security guard. You’ll be notified if any attempt to access, tow or tamper with your car is detected. If a threat is detected, your vehicle will be put into ‘tracking mode’. This allows our Stolen Vehicle Services call centre to pinpoint its exact location. We’ll then alert the police to its whereabouts and keep you updated about its recovery.
Location Alerts*
Select a radius around your chosen location, such as your home or office. This creates a ‘digital fence’ around it. You’ll receive a notification whenever your vehicle enters or exits this pre-set area. So, you’re always kept in-the-know of your vehicle’s whereabouts, even when lending it to family or friends. You can mute or deactivate the notifications at any time.
Neighbourhood Alert*
Neighbourhood AlertTM lets your Ford communicate with other connected Ford vehicles in the area. If a nearby Ford vehicle triggers a SecuriAlert, Ford Secure Alert or receives notification that their alarm has triggered, you will also be notified, so you can check to make sure your car is safe.
*Available later in 2022. It will be added to your Ford Secure Bundle via FordPass App update.
Ford Secure is a subscription product with an initial complimentary trial period; thereafter a subscription fee is payable.
In the event of a vehicle theft, you can call the police through the app using FordPass Stolen Vehicles Services.
Ford Secure use connected vehicle data (such as driving and location data) shared through FordPass Connect*. Data sharing with Ford can be managed through the in-vehicle settings but this may impact the services available. If the vehicle has an active Stolen Vehicle Services subscription, vehicle connectivity cannot be disabled to ensure vehicle tracking is available in the event of theft.
