While this year’s Euros will no doubt capture the imagination of millions of women and girls across the country, access to women’s grassroots football remains a challenge. New research from Just Eat reveals one fifth of females aged 16-65 want to get involved in the sport but do not know where to start, and 90% are unaware if they even have a local women’s grassroots team.
