The precise dose of freshly ground beans is the key to a great tasting cup. Unlock the best flavours from your coffee beans with the Smart Grinder™ Pro, which will enable you to achieve an even extraction and perfectly balanced taste so that you can enjoy barista-quality coffee at home.
Directions:
1. Use a single wall filter basket to get the maximum flavour potential of your coffee.
2. Insert the 2-cup single wall filter basket into our portafilter and choose from either the 50MM - 54MM or 58MM cradle.
3. Using the 58MM, insert the portafilter into the cradle and select your grind size. Select 14 to start and adjust later depending on the flow rate of your espresso.
4. Next, set the number of shots. For a double cup basket, set to ‘Two Shots’.
5. Begin grinding by pressing the ‘Start’ button or momentarily pressing the portafilter in and releasing.
6. You can use the ‘Pause’ function to settle and collapse coffee in the filter basket before re-inserting into the cradle and continuing to grind the remaining dose.
7. While it can look like there's too much coffee in the portafilter, all you need to do is tamp and trim, leaving you with just the right level to make the perfect espresso coffee.
8. Adjust your grind size based on flow rate to fine tune your extraction if required.
