Enjoying third wave speciality coffee begins by mastering your machine. Take a look at our easy step-by-step setup guide of the Oracle™ coffee machine, which will enable you to make your favourite barista-quality coffees from the comfort of your own home.
Directions:
1. It is important to wash all accessories and parts before placing them into the machine.
2. Soak the filter in water and set aside for 5 minutes. After it has been soaked, set the new filter to the current month and pop it into the filter holder.
3. Fit the filter into the water tank and fill the tank up with cold water.
4. Check your water hardness by dipping the provided test strip into the tank. You’ll need this later.
5. Insert the water tank back into the machine.
6. Place the hopper into the top of the machine ensuring you lock it into place.
7. Choose either the ‘1-cup’ or ‘2-cup’ filter basket to compliment your coffee taste or strength.
8. Power up the machine and follow the step-by-step instructions on LED display to guide you through the first use setup. This can take up to 10 minutes.
9. The machine will display ‘HRD3’, prompting you to set the water hardness level. This will allow the machine to notify you about descaling and changing the filter when necessary.
