VIDEO Timberland Urban Greening - Chicago 2018 TV commercial 2018 • On Thursday, September 27th, Timberland teamed up with the Student Conservation Association (SCA) to transform Chicago's Ward 25 into a park for the whole community to enjoy! Located in the heart of the Windy City, Blue Island Corridor is an ideal gathering spot for the local community. This area provides vital green space for the nearby senior resident center, schools, homes, and police and fire departments. The center of Blue Island Corridor revealed an abandoned lot with great potential to serve as a grassy reprieve. Together, Timberland and the SCA worked to transform this vacant lot into a pocket park and revamped the surrounding green spaces for the community to enjoy for years to come.
