VIDEO Sherwin-Williams Makeover Your Space with the “Dreamer” Palette TV commercial 2020 • Watch how mixed media artist Laura Stewart transformed her craft room with the help of the ColorSnap® Color ID Quiz from Sherwin-Williams. 00:01 My aesthetic kind of matches my brain, which is all over the place. 00:05 I like to play with different shapes and colors, and whatever I’m kind of feeling in the 00:10 mood to make. 00:11 I’m Laura Stewart and I’m a mixed media artist. 00:14 We’re going to be redesigning my craft room. 00:18 I’ve spent some time designing the rest of the house and have kind of ignored this 00:22 area, so I’m really looking forward to getting it up to speed with the rest of the house. 00:27 I took the Color ID Quiz from Sherwin-Williams, and my palette is Dreamer. 00:32 The palette was super cohesive and it was very easy to choose colors that went well 00:36 together and it had a good assortment of neutrals and pops of brighter colors. 00:41 The Dreamer palette is artistic and warm, and I just feel like it’s me. 00:48 The first thing that I designed in the room was the wall mural, and I wanted to bring 00:53 in my love for shape and color. 00:55 The final shape that I wanted to add to the mural was a circle, and I used the Coral Clay 01:01 and it popped off that wall perfectly. 01:05 I moved on to the built-in cabinets. 01:10 The first color that I applied in the built-ins was the Anchors Aweigh. 01:14 I used it as an accent in the back of each shelf. 01:17 The deep blue gave the shelves depth and made the light pop through the window. 01:24 I chose the Tamarind color to add some warmth. 01:27 I pulled in the Tamarind color in the cabinets, as well as the storage unit. 01:32 I wanted to spice it up and do a little line drawing and keep it just fun. 01:37 I’m obsessed with the final cabinet. 01:39 I feel like it just looks like a totally different piece, and it’s one of my favorite things 01:44 in the room. 01:45 I brought in the Grays Harbor to create just a bold entrance. 01:50 I brought in a few books and plants to just give it some life. 01:55 I’m so excited about the finished room. 01:58 I feel like it totally transformed the entire house. 02:01 The color palette brings the whole room to life. 02:04 It adds so much energy and warmth. 02:07 The room fits me so much better now and I can’t wait to use it and get creative, and 02:12 come up with a million more ideas. - advertisement spot 2020
