It not only 00:18 changes people's lives 00:19 but creates places where 00:21 people want to live. 00:22 There's a couple of easy things we can 00:23 do to get people running. 00:24 First thing, create a 00:26 friendly environment where 00:27 people can connect. Encourage 00:28 them to meet each other 00:29 and talk to somebody they 00:30 didn't come with. You 00:31 want to take people to 00:32 run places that matter to 00:33 them, places that make 00:34 them feel that much more 00:35 inspired by the place 00:36 they live. 00:37 Be consistent. Whatever 00:38 the weather may be, 00:40 the run has to continue 00:41 regardless of the 00:42 imperfect conditions. 00:43 Listen to the runners 00:44 that you gathered. 00:45 Make sure you're 00:46 creating more leaders. 00:48 You've got to 00:49 make it about others in 00:50 that group to grow. 00:51 Anybody that has a 00:52 passion for running 00:53 should consider starting 00:54 their own group. 00:56 You don't need to gather 00:57 fast runners. 00:58 You don't need to gather 00:59 athletic people. 01:00 Just gather people, just 01:01 go forward, 01:02 keep yourself moving. 01:03 You got to run through 01:04 that finish line to that 01:05 next start line and don't 01:06 stop.- advertisement spot 2020
