VIDEO Hertz WEC Spa: Hertz Team JOTA | Hertz Racing Gold TV commercial 2023 • The dawn of the Hertz Team JOTA Hypercar era started in encouraging fashion with a sixth placed finished at the 2023 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Having only received the Hypercar from manufacture Porsche a matter of days before the event, the performance of the team and witnessing the Hertz Racing Gold livery on display was a momentous moment. #38 Hertz Team JOTA may not have been challenging for overall honours, but it most certainly gave our Hypercar rivals some serious thinking to do ahead of the pinnacle race of the year - June’s Le Mans 24 hours. The race was one of the most entertaining and hard-fought WEC races in years. Spa’s traditionally changeable weather conditions combined with the new introduction of an environmentally based policy of removing tyre warmers, alongside rapid growth in the new top class produced a spectacle to see. With more than 70,000 spectators packing the grandstands, the atmosphere was feverant. There’s a little over a month to go until Le Mans where 300,000 motor racing fans will be be making the pilgrammage to the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe. The team are now working hard to improvide the car’s performance, building on an extremely positive start and a strong foundation to grow from.
