VIDEO CB2 X FERRER TV commercial 2019 • Our first-ever vintage collection is a unique assortment of one-of-a-kind pieces selected in collaboration with designer and curator of beautiful things Charlie Ferrer. 00:00 [Music] 00:00 vintage requires a modicum of curiosity 00:05 life is more interesting and richer if 00:07 you can incorporate historical 00:09 perspective into your home 00:13 one of the beautiful qualities of 00:14 vintage is that these pieces have been 00:17 handled and lived in in some cases 00:19 passed between generations or shipped 00:22 from one continent to another and then 00:24 back again 00:29 the process of putting together the 00:30 collection was one of revisiting a range 00:33 of ideas and thinking it occurred in the 00:35 20th century my instinct was to take cb2 00:40 to Europe because I really wanted to 00:43 tell a story about mostly 20th century 00:46 European design we partnered with a 00:49 dealer in Berlin another in Milan and a 00:53 third in the Netherlands in a small city 00:57 called Maastricht my thesis around 01:00 collecting is that you want the mix to 01:03 be balanced 01:04 I think the collection actually proves 01:06 that to be true there is no intimidation 01:09 factor here this stuff is inherently 01:11 beautiful interesting I catching it will 01:17 prompt the curious to ask for more 01:22 [Music] 01:25 you - advertisement spot 2019
