How to Respec Spells in V Rising

There's a completely new spell system in V Rising v1.0, plus several new additions, as usual players should familiarize themselves with as soon as possible.

How to Respec Spells in V Rising

Early Access to Respec:

The Altar of Recollection, the cornerstone of spell respec, becomes available relatively early in your V Rising experience. As you diligently progress through the main quest line, you'll unlock the recipe for this valuable structure.

A Repurposed Structure:

The Altar of Recollection represents a repurposed version of the Blood Altar, a structure removed in a previous major update. This streamlined approach simplifies construction, ensuring you can access respec functionality without delay.

Resource Acquisition for Construction:

Crafting the Altar of Recollection requires the following readily obtainable resources:

180 Stone: Stone is a ubiquitous resource, easily harvested by mining the numerous rock formations scattered throughout the world.

10 Blood Essence: By defeating enemies and draining their life essence, you'll accumulate Blood Essence, a vital component for many vampiric endeavors.

Streamlined Respec Process:

Once constructed, place the Altar of Recollection within your castle walls for convenient access. Interacting with it presents a user-friendly menu, granting you the power to reset any Spell School at no cost.

Targeted Respec:

The menu prominently displays all six Spell Schools available in V Rising. To reset a specific school, simply select it and then choose the designated "Reset School" option.

Reallocation of Spell Points:

Upon resetting a school, all previously invested Spell Points are returned to your pool. This empowers you to freely select and equip any spells within that school for which you meet the tier requirement.

Strategic Refinement and Experimentation:

While the immediate value of respec might not be readily apparent in the early game, its significance grows as you delve deeper into V Rising. Defeating V Blood Bosses unlocks new Spell Schools and grants valuable Spell Points.
