Welcome to the magical world of Hogwarts Legacy and the It's All Gobbledegook quest. In this quest, you must open the giant eyeball door to gain access to the Mine's Eye goblin mine. In order to do this, you must cast the Disillusionment spell to turn invisible and interact with the door.
- Casting the Disillusionment Spell
In order to cast the Disillusionment spell, you must first locate the Astronomy Tower in the Hogwarts Valley, then meet Lodgok, the resident wizard. Speak with Amit, the resident healer, to learn the Disillusionment spell.
- Interacting with the Door
Once you have cast the spell, you must return to the Mine's Eye goblin mine and approach the giant eyeball door. Then, use the Floo Flame spell on the left side of the door. This will cause the door to open.
What if the Giant Eyeball has Seen You?
If the giant eyeball has seen you and the door has not opened, quickly move out of its line of sight and cast Disillusionment again. This should unlock the door and allow you to enter the goblin mine.
How the Door Remains Permanently Unlocked
Once the door has been unlocked, it will remain open for the duration of the game. This can be especially useful for players who want to access the Mine's Eye location multiple times during their playthrough.
