Overview of Speices Limits in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy has a species limit that is determined by the number of Vivariums you have. The starting Vivarium allows up to 10 species, but this can be increased by acquiring additional Vivariums from completing specific quests.

Reasons for the Species Limit Being Reached

The most common reason for reaching the species limit in Hogwarts Legacy is due to player's completing the main story quests and not acquiring additional Vivariums. To increase the species limit, players must acquire additional Vivariums from completing optional quests.

The Beach Vivarium can be acquired by completing the Plight of the House-Elf quest. Once the quest is complete, the Beach Vivarium will be available in the Vivariums menu.

To unlock the Beach Vivarium, you must finish the Plight of the House-Elf quest. This quest can be found in the main story quests section.
