Sniper Elite Resistance: How to Kill Aldo Riese with Poison
Best Starting Location
Begin the mission at the Windmill starting location. This is the closest spawn point to Aldo Riese and offers the best chance of avoiding early detection. Be aware that the area surrounding Aldo is heavily patrolled, including two snipers with a clear line of sight.
Finding the Poison
Ascend to the top of the Derelict Barn and silently eliminate the sniper. Then, take out the second sniper located to the east.Descend the stairs and deal with the two guards patrolling near the barn. Abilities that enhance your Focus can make it easier to spot these enemies.East of the barn, you'll find a road with a wall on the opposite side. Instead of attempting to circle around the wall, use the vines to climb over it.Carefully observe the road for any patrolling soldiers. Use cover and wait for a safe opportunity to proceed.Head south toward the first structure you encounter. As you approach the door frame, you'll overhear two soldiers conversing. Create a save point here to protect your progress in case your cover is compromised.Use a silenced weapon to eliminate these two guards.To the left of the door frame, you'll find a table containing the poison required for the Kill Challenge.Eliminating Aldo Riese with Poison
Crouch-walk past the two guards you eliminated.Enter the building through the open white door across the walkway.Proceed straight ahead, and you'll see a glass of water on a table. Interact with it to poison the water.Ring the dinner bell located on the other table in the same room.Exit the building through the door opposite the one you used to enter.Hide in this room and wait patiently. Aldo Riese will eventually drink the poisoned water and collapse. The game will then confirm his demise, completing the Kill Challenge.Post-Assassination
After eliminating Aldo, you can find a workbench. Follow the road south from where you crossed earlier. The workbench is located inside a house with a water wheel.
