A Guide to Collecting Disney Dreamlight Valley White Bird Snippets

White Bird Snippets are conspicuously missing from the Bind, Everafter, and Mythopia biomes of Storybook Vale. Considering the nature of the content, this is a bit weird. Dreamlight Valley is, in fact, the only location you will find White Bird Snippets. With the extension in Storybook Vale installed, you should be able to find White Snippets in any of the biomes in Dreamlight Valley:

The Calm Field

A Trusting Glade

Shock Beach Valor's Forest

Covered in Frost

Lost Territories of Sunny Plains

These, while we were fortunate enough to find them in the Glade of Trust, are actually very elusive and only pop up in very few numbers in specific parts of Dreamlight Valley such as the Plaza. You may, however, need to search the entire Valley for them and be ready to capture them with your Royal Net before they fly away.

To catch a White Bird Snippet after it changes direction, make the same Royal Net motion that you do to catch any snippet, like a downward flick. When you have multiple White Snippets in close proximity, speedily catch them with the help of the spin maneuver with the Royal Net.

Crafting Snippet Lure Traps will give you an easier time catching and farming White Bird Snippets. You can craft, for instance, Basic Olympic Lure Traps, among many other Lure Traps, in the crafting table under Functional Items. some lure traps attract some creatures. You can display all snippet types you have captured in the Storybook Vale Snippet collection menu. 

How to Use Disney Dreamlight Valley's White Bird Snippets

You can use White Bird Snippets, one of the Refined Materials in the Storybook Vale Crafting Collection, in some of the recipes in that collection. Specifically, White Bird Snippets are primarily used at the crafting table in Disney Dreamlight Valley to craft other snippets. For those who haven't unlocked all biome zones in Storybook Vale yet, this can be a lifesaver in terms of getting more Snippets for re-ordering Lorekeeper stories or completing certain missions in the region. Instead of going out and catching birds, you can manufacture them if you have enough White Bird Snippets.

You can also craft them in the Snippet collection. Using one White Bird Snippet for each snippet type, you can craft the following snippets at a crafting table, except for White Bird Snippets:

White Bird Snippets are the only snippets that cannot be used to re-order Lorekeeper Stories and are used in Disney Dreamlight Valley for the 'A Moth to a Flame' quest. There are snippets of different values in Disney Dreamlight Valley. For instance, snippets of yellow birds cost 30 gold star coins, while snippets of red birds are for just 10 coins. You can also exchange 20 Gold Star Coins for White Bird Snippets.
