Where to Find Raccoons in Red Dead Redemption

Because they can be found in multiple locations around Red Dead Redemption, raccoons are one of the easiest animals to hunt down. They move relatively slow and are easily recognizable by their shape, making them simple targets. Hunting raccoons is a great way to obtain meat, fur, and other materials in Red Dead Redemption. Five raccoons, five foxes, and five skunks must be killed and skinned for Marston to reach Rank 6 in the Master Hunter Challenges. Since the raccoons happen to be nocturnal, the best time to go raccoon hunting is at any time between sunset and sunrise. Below are included some of the most reliable locations:

Oddfellow's Rest: This cemetery sees a lot of raccoons and bunnies at night.

The region west of the main house, in front of the pavilion, should be checked by Beecher's Hope.

Between the hours of four and six in the morning, just south of Beecher's Hope.

If you're looking for skunks or raccoons, Armadillo, you should check the grassy area behind the stagecoach. At night, you should also investigate the town's back alleys.

Raccoons can be spotted on the map between the two road paths south of Armadillo.

Place bait in the big hole south of town, beside the river, at Tanner's Reach.

In the northern section of Tall Trees, you may happen upon raccoos.

Nosalida: Raccoons can be hunted by staying to the left side of the round road.

Hunt for Tanner's Span near the letter "e" in the name of the town.

The Plains: Racoons are common along the areas west of the Serendipity Wreck, and north of Thieves' Landing.

Speciffically at night between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m., according to the Manzanita post, raccoons have been spotted crossing the tracks at this station. At night, you might be able to catch racoons hiding under cabins as well.

On west side of MacFarlane's Ranch near Pike's Basin.

A large area, including that south of MacFarlane's Ranch, is known as Warthington Ranch.

If you're looking for raccoons in Tumbleweed, you may want to spend some time in the estate's surrounding area at night.
