How to Make the Crystalline Green Potion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Through the Early Access releases of Disney Dreamlight Valley, players have been attempting to piece together the meaning of weird secret quests focused on potatoes for months. With "The Remembering Update," resourceful problem solvers of Dreamlight Valley have figured out what these weird potatoes and the potions they make mean.

The Crystalline Green Potion requires hunting down and solving puzzles to get at the six different potatoes involved in its concoction. There are six colored potions available, and obtaining these potatoes involves doing some strange things. You either have to find a few things that are of the same color or you have to hunt all around the valley for hints that are in books. The main ingredients required to brew the Crystalline Green Potion in Disney Dreamlight Valley include Green Potatoes and Jade Crystals, which are described below.

Steps to Start Your Green Potato Quest

To initiate the Green Potato quest, players must fish for several Emerald Bottles across different biomes. Although these bottles can be seen clearly during the day, especially in Dazzle Beach, the rest are somewhat tricky.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, 16 Emerald Bottles can be found. These will be converted into Emerald Sliver, which is needed to craft the Jade Crystal. If other than a random fish you see a sparkling orange ripple in the water it simply means you are fishing directly over an Emerald Bottle. To get the bottle you'll need to continue trying to cast your line onto the ripple.

Once you have the Green Potato and the Jade Crystal, you can craft the Crystalline Green Potion. Once you've obtained both items, a new recipe unlocks in the crafting station under the Potion & Enchantment tab.

Below are the hidden activities that you need to do in Disney Dreamlight Valley to acquire these two items.

What to Do for a Green Potato

The crafting of the Crystalline Green Potion in Disney Dreamlight Valley requires the Green Potato and an Empty Vial. The process of locating the Green Potato, which isn't at the end of some secret path, is to find the Green Seed. The only way to obtain the Green Seed is by entering a secret chamber in the Vitalys Mines, which must first be opened.

Once you and Simba, the main character of The Lion King, have reached Friendship Level 10, you can take up the quest "Seed of Memories," which will give you access to the secret room. In that very room is the recipe of the Dreamlight Tree. Quite logically, to achieve this, players will have to invite Simba into the valley and level up their Friendship with him to the maximum.

Return to this chamber once you've opened the secret lab in the Vitalys Mines; on one of the workstations sits a green orb that you can interact with. The player can then pick up the Green Seed, which will fall to the floor when it pops out.

Have the player plant the Green Seed in the Forgotten Lands biome. Soak the seed for three hours, let the green potato mature, and then harvest it.

Guide to Get Jade Crystal

To obtain the Jade Crystal, which is the other ingredient necessary to make the Crystalline Green Potion requires much exploration in the valley. This is because the Jade Crystal can be received only upon collecting 16 Emerald Bottles that are dispersed around the water of the valley. Once the player locates any bottle, he or she needs to remove it from the water and place it in their personal inventory.

After having collected all of the bottles, he will need to right-click or use the corresponding hotkey on each one, or upon left-clicking, select the "Use" button. Each of these bottles will turn into an Emerald Sliver. Go up to any crafting table and there is a new recipe available under the Functional Items category: the Jade Crystal. This will be added when the player crafts all 16 Emerald Slivers.

The Art of Creating the Emerald Enchantment

With the Jade Crystal, the Green Potato, an Empty Vial, and the two items once they have grown and harvested the Green Potato, the player will be able to create at a crafting station the Crystalline Green Potion. In Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Rainbow Fox companion pet can only be achieved by putting together six different colored potions made via the enigmatic potatoes and other resources. For this, the player has to visit a crafting station and collect all six potions.
