A Rift in the Gerudo Desert in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

First Major Dungeon Cleared: Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Once you beat the first major dungeon in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you'll come across a fork in the road: head west into Gerudo Desert or northeast towards Jabul Waters. One of the main questlines in Echoes of Wisdom: A Rift in the Gerudo Desert, is initiated by opting to head toward the desert area where the powerful Gerudo women reside. If you want to know how to complete the mission, including the dungeon in Gerudo Sanctum, then read on. 

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - A Rift in the Gerudo Desert Walkthrough

As you initial enter the Gerudo Desert, stay to the south side of the path and you will find three Gerudo women standing by some trees. Check the images above for the exact location. They mention that the Gerudo Sanctum can no longer be entered as it has been pushed into one of the Rifts.

If you glance over your map, on the west side of the desert, you can see a big rift. If you haven't explored the entire area yet, you can find it on the map below. To continue with the next part of the quest, you will want to start conversing with Tri in the location south of the rift. The red pin in our screenshot is the location you'll want to attain.

When Tri finishes speaking, turn left and head towards the guard that is blocking the way into the cave entrance. Speak to him. Since there's a young woman in distress that requires Zelda's aid, this conversation won't last very long.

If you can get the best Echoes to defeat the enemies, Dohna will be grateful for all eternity. To find her, head back to Gerudo Town, just north of Gerudo Palace. The chiefs-Seera and Facette-want you to show proof that Zelda can heal the wounds.

Afterwards, after the meeting is concluded, the guard outside will give you the all-ahead to head east to the Oasis. You can rapid travel there in quickly if you have a waypoint otherwise it's pretty easy to find; just head east.

Three of them, one being Dohna, will be congregated near the lake. She informs Zelda that there are three minor rifts scattered about in the desert, which she needs repaired. You can find them in the Southern Gerudo Desert, Ancestor's Cave of Rest, and the Southern Oasis Ruins.

You will find, on your map, three various locations. A couple of these are south of the Oasis, northeast of Gerudo Town, and south of that, a little ways further on, another can be found. For the sake of ease, let's head south of the Oasis to find the two fallen soldiers at the rift.

It looks like time for this Gerudo couple to break, as they cannot hold off for much longer against the legions of monsters coming out of that huge fissure. Take all your Echoes and Swordfighter forms and defeat your enemies.

Once defeated the baddies, the guards will appreciate it. Zelda intervened again, but Tri is still unable to create a Rift entrance here.

Ancestor's Cave of Rest Rift Walkthrough - Echoes of Wisdom

Find the point northeast of the Gerudo Town on your map. Now, head towards it. The entrance of a cave is beautifully framed, on either side of which is a sputtering flame.

Go left immediately after entering; a secret room will appear once you use your Bind power to shift a block.

Once you defeat the enemies in the next room, you'll learn how to use the Holmill Echo. Move the rock after that and go down the hidden staircase. You can now reach the 2D portion.

Use the Molhill Echo the moment the player lands on the beach in the first area, and if followed, a treasure chest with a golden egg can be found nearby.

To the right of this area, several ladders lead down to the main area. Light the two torches, using a Brazier or an Ignizol Echo for example, and the Gerudo will thank you for paying respects to their ancestors.

Southern Gerudo Desert Rift Walkthrough - Echoes of Wisdom

Head south from the Gerudo Town waypoint until you reach a group of fighters by yet another rift. Dohna asks Zelda to have a cactus smoothie from the Smoothie Shop at Oasis. She'll also give you two pieces of Chilly Cactus.

You can complete the subquest by giving the smoothie back to the guards. You are now tasked with reuniting at Gerudo Palace with the Chief.

A Rift in the Gerudo Desert Cont.

Once you have arrived at the Oasis, head northeast to the rift. Several people are there, including Dohna, Facette, and the Chief.

Start going north towards the edge of the Rift once the first talk is over, and press A at the suspicious place marked by a lot of rings.

Stilled Desert Temple Ruins Walkthrough - Echoes of Wisdom

Cryptic Cavern and Gerudo Sanctum Walkthrough - Echoes of Wisdom

You can go into the tunnel that the guard was blocking once Tri's friends have been rescued from the Rift. From Gerudo Town, just head south. The "entrance" to the Gerudo Sanctum is on the left-hand side of it.

She will be rewarded with a complete heart container once the dungeon and boss are defeated, with Might Crystals and Tri Rod summoning power, and lastly, the Swordfighter form Bow.
