Here you have a step-by-step guide so you can learn how to beat Ganon in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom.

The original Zelda bad guy, Ganondorf "Ganon" Dragmire, has survived since the NES outing. As the princess he's been kidnapping, possessing, and generally pestering since 1987, Ganon returns in gleeful fashion in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. But this time, you'll have to face the demon porkchop in all her glory. Never has revenge smelled so appealing.

Because of reasons beyond its obvious homage to A Link to the Past, the best fight in EoW is that of the Hyrule Castle battle against Ganon: it marks the beginning of a steeper decline in difficulty which would characterize the second half of EoW, and it is the game's very first truly challenging boss.

With my instructions, the defeat of Ganon should be a piece of cake. Come with your A-game swordsman and some strong echoes to aid you - the Peahat, Club Boarblin, or Ball-and-Chain Trooper - since this is not going to be an easy fight. It's a good idea to pick up the Energy Globe attachment, which can be found near the northwest tip of the Gerudo Desert.

Guide to Ganon, the Boss in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The instant the fight starts, Ganon instantly teleports off and tries to shish-kabob you with the tips of his trident. He winds up a jab, then takes a few more to collect his breath-he is a bit fat, after all. Turn into swordsman form and hit him anytime after he's done stabbing. You can bind his trident, and then pull it out of his hand to extend the stun animation for some extra stabbing time. I would recommend practicing this, even though it's not strictly necessary.

The instant that Ganon receives damage, he switches his tactic. He will now throw his trident at you and then teleport away. After a few seconds allow the thing to whirl around the room like a boomerang, he'll poop back in to collect it. It's a pretty terrible tactic, but you can try to get in a few licks in swordsman form before he catches the trident.

Alternatively, use Bind and capture Ganon's trident when it flies. Grab the trident and immediately walk towards Ganon as he teleports back. You can attack him with this and briefly stun him, at which point you may go wild swordsman until he recovers.

While he's throwing the trident, Ganon summons a load of Fire Keese and sends them in your direction. You can get away from the ay by either ducking or by setting up a Boulder Echo that acts as protection for you. If you happen to run low of energy when in swordsman form, you'll want to refill your meter by catching energy drops off the Fire Keese. By calling on an Echo and allowing it to fight for several cycles, you'll be able to save up some energy.

Once you have pained Ganon enough that he is incensed, the Demon King resorts to Dead Man's Volley. Following a path trod by all of the great Zelda villains, Ganon summons a ball of electricity and tosses it in your general direction. A quick flick of the wrist and your blade will send it right back at him, starting a lethal tennis volley. With enough returning, a few good hits can be landed using swordsman form or with an echo to give Ganon tremendous damage and leave him dazed.

When he's taken enough damage, Ganon will envelop in purple flames, and you'll move into the final phase of the fight. His attacks will speed up, and their pattern is now completely random. None of the things that have gotten you through this far will help you anymore; now, all you need to do is be fleet of foot to hit him.

Press on until the Demon King collapses, releasing an army of Tri's associates from within his body. It is only then that the small fairy robot giant will have the power to seal the tear, returning Hyrule Castle to its glorious history.

With these steps, we certainly hope that you will manage to beat Ganon in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom in the simplest of manners. Now, without further ado, we would like to wish the best of luck on this adventure.
