Once the boss fight at the end of the Suthorn Ruins ends, you will finally be up against Seismic Talus. The entrance to Suthorn Ruins is northeast of Suthorn Village and northwest of Suthorn Forest. While it is the first dungeon you'll go through in the Echoes of Wisdom, it is anything but easy. Just like other Zelda games, there are still some enemies to defeat and puzzles to complete in Suthorn Dungeon.

You will come across and defeat a shadow Link along the pathway of this dungeon. Sure, it might be kind of a pain to defeat Sword Link, but that struggle will be very much worth it, as you will acquire Sword, which will prove super useful in the fight with Seismic Talus.

The items that will help overcome the riddles of this dungeon and defeat the boss will be majorly the Strandtula Echoes and Tri's grab. You will use Tri's grab ability to move those big rocks that block your path in the dungeon, while Strandtulas are great for reaching high ledges without building complicated climbing structures!

Seismic Talus Boss Guide

There is one weak point on the Seismic Talus. That small, glowing purple core at the bottom of its rocky body is what you need to be targeting.

Phase One

At the beginning of the fight, the Talus's weak point will be lower to the ground. You really shouldn't have to worry about which Echo Minions can hit this, since it's in range of most monsters you'll summon.

If Seismic Talus slams his big rock fists down onto the ground, that's when you want to call a minion to attack his now exposed backside, being that for a few seconds his hands will be stuck in the ground.

The Seismic Talus will collapse after enough hits to the core, revealing the ball inside. Flip into Swordfighter Mode and begin to slash away at the core of the Talus as much as possible until it reforms .

Next Stage

By the time the battle of the second phase commences, it would have been to Talus's left shoulder. Therefore, if you are facing opponents that live on the ground, then it would be very wise to call an aerial foe. While the boss is circling in the arena, you can land some hits that way.

Just like at the beginning, there's a sweet spot to hit the core. This time, when the monster does fire its left fist, make for its core. As the fist flies across to the other side of the arena, the flying or ground-dwelling Echo can hit the exposed core.

At this point in the battle, the core will be resting upon the top of the Seismic Talus's head. The Flying Echoes will have better reach because the center is off of the ground. Otherwise, you can hold your attacks because you are saving the Echoes for a more impressive minion later in the game.

Just like in the first phase, that's when the Talus will slam its hands into the ground. This time, however, the core is hidden by the back. Moreover, Talus's large, rocky hands are protecting it. You won't be able to climb up the hands, so you'll want to summon an Echo capable of attacking from afar.

Even from afar, a Spear Moblin can land a precise hit on the center!

The continuous attack of the Talus shall leave most of the Echoes dead. Keep alert and always think of what this monster would do unto you. Seismic Talus pounds down his palms after he had raised both hands over his head.

Just as the first shock wears off, summon your Echo to buy your minion more time to strike the core before the beast frees its grip. After a certain number of hits to the core, it will collapse, releasing Tri's companions while retaining only a Heart Container.

That's all there is to know about How to Beat the Seismic Talus in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, so we hope we have been as helpful as possible.
