How to eat birthday cake in Fortnite

Chapter 5 of Season 4 focuses on the seventh anniversary of Fortnite with some special objectives and birthday set cosmetics to get into the mood. Here's how you complete one of the six birthday quests that requires you to eat seven slices of birthday cake.

This week, Fortnite celebrated a birthday with the addition of a few new items in the game. Those include Birthday Medallions, Flare Guns, Birthday Presents, and Birthday Cake.

How to Find and Eat Birthday Cake in Fortnite 

I've highlighted a number of key POIs in the map above, but most of them will have the Birthday Cake; that said, I recommend the Reckless Railways POI because the cake is really easy to find there.

In Reckless Railways, near the bridge and fountain is a large birthday cake. Go to it and eat the smaller cakes, positioned in a circle on the table around the big one.

You can eat all seven slices to fulfill the quest in one match; just be careful because other players will be trying to do the same. The birthday cakes aren't something that I only came across at the Underworld palace or Raft shop, as I mentioned earlier.

Along with the 20,000 experience points you'll get by completing each birthday quest, you will also get cosmetic rewards for completing them:

Get the Birthday Bud emote by completing one birthday quest.

Cake Clobberer pickaxe: Complete all three birthday quests.

Celebrate a sparkly space cake for your birthday-Complete five quests.

Quests of Fortnite's Seventh Birthday

Below is a wrap-up of all the birthday quests in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, with some tips on how to complete them.

Merry holiday bus driver (7)

You just have to press the emote key (B on keyboard) to thank the bus driver. You'll have to play seven matches to complete the quest and thank him seven times.

Release birthday presents or find treasure chests  

Seven chests will be easy to find and open because they spawn randomly and you'll get a signal when you are near one. Last time I was lucky enough to find a birthday present, I retrieved it from a chest.

Fly miles in the air with Birthday Medallions' balloons (777)

Quest uses Birthday Medallion which usually is dropped whenever you use Birthday Presents. When you wear the Medallion balloons will start to attach themselves to your back. Once there are enough balloons, you will start flying. In order to reach the 777 meter mark, you'll have to control it when you're in water.

Pop the balloons or release it

Find an enemy player and pop their balloons if you can. Getting a Birthday Medallion and releasing the balloons once you get one is the easier way.

Flare Gun (7): This lets you reveal players by shooting fireworks.

You can get lucky and find one inside a birthday present or a chest, but they are rare, purple treasure. This weapon will mark your enemies when you shoot it into the air. I highly encourage you to use a Flare Gun when bots are fighting around you to reveal multiple enemies at once.
