The "Glory of" meta-achievements have always been reserved for those looking to conquer literally every piece of endgame content. If one completes all achievements included in one of these meta-achievements, a distinction is rewarded to him/her, which also includes unique mounts. Recently, the Delves joined the fray with their own "Glory of the Delver" meta-achievement. Let's explore how you can achieve this prestigious title.
How to Complete Glory of the Delver
Glory of the Delver is an elite meta-achievement, rewarding a player who masters Delves. The unlocking criteria include reaching Level 80 and advancing to Tier 8 Delves. Clearing that, you will be granted access to a highly complex quest whereby you will have to finish the following 10 individual achievements in detail:
• War Within Delves: Conquer Tier 8 Delves.
• Delve Loremaster: War Within - Find all Tier 8 Delves lore. • Leave No Treasure Unfound - Find all hidden treasures in Tier 8 Delves. • Sporesweeper - Defy the dangers of Delve fungi. • I TAKE Candle! - Successfully take a Candle of the Delve. • Just Keep Swimming - Swim Delve waters without drowning. • Spider Senses - Avoid deadly spider webs. • Daystormer - Complete Delve challenges during the day. • Nemesis - Kill specific Delve enemies. • Bran Development - Upgrade your Bran companion's abilities.
Each of them presents different difficulties, and they require all skill, strategy, and profound knowledge of how to play Delve.
War Within Delves: Tier 8
This will require you to complete a Delve at Tier 8. If it is too difficult for your character's state, first do an easier-tier Delve and come back when your character will be strong enough and geared properly.
Delve Loremaster: War Within
You will have to complete all the available versions of each War Within Delve in order to unlock this achievement. Zekvir's Lair does not count because it does not have rotating stories. Each Delve has something different every day in objectives to complete, and having several versions to complete, this will be quite an achievement to get.
Leave No Treasure Unfound
This is unlocked by finding all of the Sturdy Chests hidden in the Delves. It's not necessarily something you need to do in one go, and some chests are part of special story events. Example: There is one that will only appear in the "From the Weaver with Love" quest in Spiral Weave.
Sporesweeper
This achievement requires completing Fungal Folly or Mycomancer Cavern on Tier 8 without taking an explosion from the spores. On a serious note, the spores can follow you, but just make sure not to stand in the explosion radius of any spore. If you take the poison dbuff, you have failed it - otherwise, there is no counter for failure. Brann and all pets do not factor into this achievement, so it is irrelevant whether they are near the exploding spores.
I TAKE Candle!
To do this, complete either Waterworks or Kriegval's Rest on Tier 8. Both feature a totem/candle you have to keep alive. While carrying one, a circle will appear around you that begins to shrink. The best thing to do is drop the item in a fight so you have plenty of room to fight within the circle without it contracting. Complete the final boss without letting the totem/candle die, and this will pop.
Just Swim
"Some 'Glory of the Delver' achievement is pretty straightforward: you have to finish either Sinkhole or Tak-Rethan Abyss on Tier 8 without running out of air. One of the simple approaches to this would be just to use a water breathing potion whereby you simply bypass the challenge. Keep in mind that there might be some glitches sometimes, and hence it may take a few tries, but nothing too time-consuming, for this achievement to unlock successfully."
Spider Senses
You can do this achievement either on Earthcrawl Mines or Dread Pit at Tier 8 and must have neither of the Nerubian spawns set off in these dungeons. Also means that you will keep away from webs as well as avoid Nerubian Eggs. Often Dread Pit is softer when the active story is Kobold Kidnapping because at all other stories, the webs are more challenging to navigate.
After choosing your dungeon, simply be on the lookout to not touch the Nerubian Eggs. Just run around them without hitting them directly and you'll have your achievement after killing the boss.
Daystormer
Some of the challenges in Nightfall Sanctum include purple circles that are seen literally everywhere, which you must not let yourself touch. In fact, in order for you to finish the challenge in Tier 8, you aren't supposed to touch even a single circle. Sure, most of the circles are pretty easy to avoid, but when it comes to the moving circle in the boss fight, things get pretty tough.
Nemesis
Nemesis is generally considered the toughest Glory of the Delver achievement, where you must complete Zekvir's Lair on Tier ? solo or as part of a party. You will want at least a gear score of 590 to have any hope against Zekvir. Even with perfect equipment, mismanagement of cocoons can wipe parties, making this very challenging endgame achievement.
Brann Development
To unlock this accomplishment, you will have to level up Brann to 25. Brann only gains experience from Delves up to level 15. Beyond that level, he only gains experience from Bountiful Delves. Do repeated Bountiful Delves and with time, Brann will attain level 25.
