How to Complete Some Serious Beeswax in The Plucky Squire

This walkthrough will cover the first chapter of The Plucky Squire, titled 'Some Serious Beeswax.

Chapter One: Some Serious Beeswax – Walkthrough Investigate Noisy Music

Head outside of Jot's house and onto the next house to the right. Inside Moonbeard's House is a friendly wizard who is blasting his music. Moonbeard asks you to fetch him some beeswax from Benny Bee, who is located in Honey Peak.

Get Beeswax for Moonbeard

With Moonbeard's quest in hand, venture into the Woods, which are to the right. Here, you will have your first combat - using your sword to kill some Goblins. You will immediately notice that your sword, when used on bushes, reaps Light Bulbs, the main currency of this game. Continue through the woods, killing Goblins as you go.

Off to the right at the top of the woods, instead of going right go up and break the bushes revealing a hidden path. Go up the path until you reach Honey Peak. On Honey Peak, run across the platforms defeating the Goblins getting in your way, until you reach Benny Bee.

Honey Badger Boss

You will get engaged in a boxing match with Jot and the Honey Badger; therefore, you have to defeat the Honey Badger for saving Benny Bee's beeswax. In defeating the Honey Badger, use both Jab and Hook in combination. If there is a dodge prompt, tap it fast enough to get yourself out of the Honey Badger's punch. Once you deplete its health, you win.

In return, Benny Bee will thank you with some beeswax, and a cinematic will fire off. When that's done and dusted, Moonbeard's quest is complete and your next order of business is to head towards the Tome Tower.

Tome Tower

Head right in the Woods, killing Goblins as you go, until you reach a locked gate with the words 'The' and 'Swung' on it. The missing 'Gate' and 'Open,' word can be found on the ground left of the bush, dropped by a Goblin near the tree on the right.

When you have the phrase in order, 'The Gate Swung Open,' the gate will unlock to reveal Martina, a merchant. Purchase the Sword Throw Badge from her; it is one of several fantastic ranged abilities.

Down the path, defeat a few bird creatures to the Tome Tower. A cinematic will ensue, and thus your first chapter will be complete.
