1. Begin the Scientist's questline-a chain of missions that starts major events on the Iron Rig, including the building of the Factory.

Using Exotic Bait means time to reel in some monster catches. With the Exotic Bait in the main inventory, head into open waters. Using this in Dredge means opening your Skill Wheel with a hold of LB/L1. Find the bucket symbol at the bottom and select Bait.
Before casting, in the display box on the lower left of your HUD, make sure Exotic Bait is selected. If you have other Baits in inventory, switch between them with R2/RT and L2/LT until Exotic Bait is selected. Then press Square/X to drop it into the ocean. A new fishing spot is now available. Only one Exotic fish per Exotic Bait.
