The Prisoner side quest in Black Myth Wukong can be counted among its more mysterious ones. You actually initiate this by freeing a prisoner from the Hidden Pagoda by breaking a seal that holds him in. In turn, the prisoner will ask you to help him avenge his masters.
Unfortunately, the game does not provide any direct clues or hints regarding how to break the seal that keeps the Prisoner locked in his cell. Upon freeing the Prisoner, he asks you to find four of his former "Captains." At the onset, the game does not offer you any clue or direction as to where these Captains are. In the absence of such a clue, finding the Captains may be an arduous and long task for any player in exploring the world of the game in an attempt to maybe encounter their locations.
This might be frustrating for players who need more straightforwardness with instructions; at the same time, it adds to the mystique and exploration aspects of the gameplay. The deeper the player goes into the world of the game, the more he might reveal tips hidden somewhere, puzzles, or other characters that can give valuable information about the whereabouts of the Captains. The challenge of finding the Captains can be rewarding for those who enjoy a more open-ended and exploratory gaming experience."
