For Apple Watch, double-click the Side button, select your card, and touch the watch display near the reader. Your watch is connected to your iPhone, which acts as the authentication.

How to use Apple Pay for online transactions

Apple Pay provides easy checkout when shopping online in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. To use Apple Pay in apps and websites that support Apple Pay, just tap the Apple Pay logo at Checkout and select your preferred card to complete the purchase.

Note: Apple Pay is supported in Safari on iOS 17 and earlier. With iOS 18, all major browsers  support Apple Pay.

Payment confirmation: Easy. On Face ID devices, just double-click the Side button and authenticate with Face ID or passcode. On Touch ID devices, you'll use Touch ID or passcode.
