Specifically, one has to find a somewhat hidden path in the Shadow Keep DLC to access this boss battle with the Scadutree Avatar. Starting from the Church District Highroad Site of Lost Grace, players will make their way towards the Church District, then onto the rooftops above. Be cautious crossing over the rooftops until hitting a breakable part that opens access to lower levels of the area.

First, you have to find a room with bats in it. You will find a lever there that drains the surrounding water and makes a new path open. Next, gain access to the building left of Sunken Chapel Site of Grace and progress downwards to the lowest level to reach the boss area for Scadutree Avatar.
