If you don't know how to deactivate Motion Blur and TAA in The Crust, here is a guide that will help you with it.

The Crust is another space-themed colony building simulator for players who have a knack for micromanagement. It is true that its gameplay does not focus on fluid graphics but you may still have wondered how to disable Motion Blur and TAA.

Motion blur and TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) can sometimes make your gaming experience less pleasant, which is why today we have brought a complete guide for you to learn how to disable it:

How to disable Motion Blur and TAA in The Crust

Important Note: Before proceeding, it is strongly recommended to create a backup of the Engine.ini file to prevent unintended consequences.

Steps:

Locate the Configuration File:

Navigate to the following directory: C:\Users\{your

username}\AppData\Local\TheCrust\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Create a Backup:

Create a copy of the Engine.ini file as a backup.

Edit the Engine.ini File:

Open the Engine.ini file using a text editor.

Scroll to the bottom of the file and add the following lines to disable Motion Blur:

[SystemSettings]

r.MotionBlur.Max=0

r.MotionBlurQuality=0

r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

To disable TAA, add the following lines:

r.PostProcessAAQuality=0

r.DefaultFeature.AntiAliasing=0

If the [SystemSettings] section already exists, simply add the lines below it.

Save Changes:

Save the modified Engine.ini file.

Additional Post-Processing Adjustments:

For further customization, consider disabling additional post-processing effects:

[SystemSettings]

r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0

r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0

r.LensFlareQuality=0

r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0

Caution: Modifying configuration files may introduce unexpected visual or performance issues. Proceed with caution and refer to the game's official support channels for assistance if problems arise.

With these steps and taking care, players can effectively disable Motion Blur, TAA, and other post-processing effects in The Crust to achieve their desired visual preferences.
