In the update of Fallout 4 Next Gen there are new missions for players to realize and obtain new weapons and outfits.

One of these missions is Crucible, which requires that the jugadores investigate a factory of equipment led by a group called Forged and acclaim a weapon called Heavy Incinerator. We continue to explain the misma and help you complete it.

How to Complete the Crucible Quest in Fallout 4

Quest Activation (Next-Gen Update Only)

Upon loading your game after installing the Next-Gen Update, the Crucible quest will automatically activate. A quest marker will be displayed on your Pip-Boy map, and a notification will appear on the screen unless you're currently tracking another quest.

Locating Saugus Ironworks

Your initial objective is to reach Saugus Ironworks. Consult your Pip-Boy map and locate the designated quest marker. This will guide you to the eastern region of the Commonwealth where the factory is situated.

Securing the Facility

Prepare for combat as you enter Saugus Ironworks. Systematically eliminate the hostile Forged soldiers within the factory. Utilize cover effectively and leverage your preferred combat tactics to gain the upper hand.

Unearthing Clues

Once you've secured the initial area, proceed with caution and locate a locked door positioned near a terminal on the factory floor. This door is key to progressing further.

Descending for Information

Carefully navigate to the lower area of the factory. Eliminate any remaining Forged soldiers you encounter. Be mindful of dropped notes; one such note might provide valuable clues. Collect it for further reference.

Gathering Intel

Prioritize locating the "Keeper's Note" and take a moment to read it thoroughly. This note sheds light on hidden evidence concealed within a toolbox, offering a critical step towards acquiring the Heavy Incinerator.

Accessing Hidden Evidence

Find the "Keeper's Toolbox" and utilize a Bobby Pin to unlock it. Secure all the contents within, including the "Forged Recruit's Note" and the crucial "Smelter Console Password."

Strategic Planning

Meticulously read the "Forged Recruit's Note." This note unveils the location of flame-resistant armor leg mods buried underneath the crucibles. These leg mods are indispensable for obtaining the Heavy Incinerator.

Controlling the Molten Metal Flow

Descend to the ground floor and locate a button labeled with a cautionary message: "Caution: Machinery Crossing." Pressing this button deactivates the flow of molten metal, creating a safe passage for you to proceed.

Manipulating the Crucible

Return to the upper level and find a terminal situated near a large green console. Utilize the previously acquired "Smelter Console Password" to interact with the terminal. Select the option to "Move Crucible" to clear a path forward.

Claiming the Buried Reward

With the crucible relocated, head back to the lower area where you deactivated the molten metal flow. Here, you'll find the buried flame-resistant armor leg mods. Retrieve them for crafting purposes.

Crafting the Essential Armor

Locate a Power Armor Station and prioritize crafting the Flame-Resistant Armor Legs mod. The crafting recipe requires the following materials:

5 Adhesive

6 Asbestos

6 Ballistic Fiber

3 Rubber

Equipping for Success

Once crafted, equip the Flame-Resistant Armor Legs on your Power Armor suit. Don the Power Armor suit to meet the final requirement for acquiring the Heavy Incinerator.

Claiming Your Victory

By following these steps meticulously, you've successfully conquered the Crucible quest! As a reward for your perseverance, you'll be bestowed with the powerful Heavy Incinerator weapon and the valuable Flame-Resistant Armor Leg mod recipe.

Additional Considerations

The difficulty of this quest can vary depending on your character's level and equipment. Ensure you're adequately prepared for combat encounters.

Creating a save point before venturing deep into Saugus Ironworks is recommended in case you need to adjust your approach.

The Crucible mission, introduced with the Fallout 4 Next-Gen update, presents an exciting challenge with a coveted reward, we hope that with this guide you can master the same to claim your prize and emerge victorious.
