How to fix Geeni not working

Checklist Before Troubleshooting 

Ensure Geeni Devices are Connected to the Same Wi-Fi Network 

Before you start troubleshooting, make sure all of your Geeni devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This will ensure that all of your devices are able to communicate with one another.

Check Geeni and Google Home App Versions 

You’ll also want to make sure that you have the latest version of the Geeni and Google Home apps. If the apps are out of date, they may not be able to communicate properly. 

Step by Step Troubleshooting 

• Unlink Geeni in the Google Home App: If you’re still having trouble connecting your Geeni devices to Google Home, the first step is to unlink the devices in the Google Home app. To do this, go to the “Devices” tab, and then select the Geeni device you’d like to unlink. Once the device is unlinked, you’ll need to restart the Google Home app. 
• Close Home App and Link Geeni Again: Once the Google Home app has been restarted, you’ll need to link the Geeni device again. To do this, open the Google Home app, go to the “Devices” tab, and then select “+” to add a new device. From there, you’ll be able to link your Geeni device. 
• Check to See if Geeni or Google Home Service is Down: If you’re still having trouble connecting your Geeni device to Google Home, it’s possible that the Geeni or Google Home services are down. To check if this is the case, head to the Google Home app and check the “Settings” tab. If the status for either service is set to “offline,” it means that the service is currently down. 

To fix Geeni not working with Google Home, start by ensuring all of your Geeni devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Then, check to make sure the Geeni and Google Home apps are up-to-date. Next, try unlinking and relinking the Geeni device in the Google Home app. Finally, check to see if either the Geeni or Google Home services are down.
