Learn more behind the scenes of our new commercial. https://www.ariat.com/al/brock-purdy 0:00 I've been an aret customer since my 0:02 junior year of high school I currently 0:04 have three pairs well four a you 0:07 included the first pair but those are 0:08 out of commission now I've warn them so 0:10 much but uh for Christmas every year you 0:12 know usually the quarterback and some of 0:14 the other guys on offense just gift 0:16 whether it's the guys on offense or the 0:18 whole team gifts for Christmas and so I 0:20 was thinking about the o line and I'm 0:22 like all right well I know these are a 0:23 bunch of you know big gritty guys and 0:25 they like to do outdoor activities and 0:26 whatnot so I was like you know what a 0:28 good gift would probably be some boots 0:30 and so because I love aret so much I was 0:32 like let's hit up aret and uh get them 0:34 distributed to the o line and these guys 0:36 are like dude like these are something 0:37 that we can wear like every day outdoor 0:40 indoor it don't matter they've all been 0:41 appreciative and I still get pictures 0:43 sent over that they're wearing their 0:44 boots jeans boots sport coat that's the 0:46 look arot baby arot knows who they are 0:49 they don't waver in it and that's that's 0:50 who I am what's made me in my life has 0:52 been hard work dedication the simple 0:55 things of not comparing myself to others 0:57 you can't look left and right to see 0:58 others running their race everybody has 1:00 a race of their own throughout my life 1:03 there's been just times whether it's 1:05 college recruiting or getting drafted 1:07 last there's always moments where you 1:09 know the world starts to creep in your 1:11 mind and say hey you're not good enough 1:13 or you don't have what it takes but it's 1:15 always come down to like those 1:16 fundamentals of believ in yourself 1:18 continue to work put your head down and 1:20 and go get it but you got to earn it and 1:21 so I know who I am and I'm going to 1:24 stick to that and and continue to work 1:26 and I think that's why area and I like 1:27 align so well together is that so so one 1:30 of the best pieces of advice that I've 1:32 gotten in my life would be from my dad 1:34 when he said be where your feet are at 1:37 meaning don't look too far ahead in the 1:39 future um and don't dwell on the past 1:42 but be where you're at in the present 1:44 and um that's where growth happens 1:47 growing up I wanted to be an NFL 1:50 quarterback I did yeah the minute I 1:53 started watching football on TV and the 1:56 atmosphere how intense everything was 1:58 what it took to be qub back take hits 2:01 and continue to deliver that was a dream 2:03 of mine and so I've had a great 2:06 beautiful Supporting Cast in my life it 2:08 hasn't just been me and it hasn't been 2:09 my will to to get there on my own it's 2:13 I've definitely had some help and and I 2:15 you know tell them all the time I'm like 2:17 without you guys I wouldn't be here so 2:19 that's what I think I'm called to do in 2:21 life is to lay down my life for others 2:23 um whether that's time or raising money 2:25 to help out with foundations that's a 2:27 huge part of what I do using my platform 2:29 not for myself but my communities not 2:31 trying to chase status fame money all 2:33 that kind of stuff it's you know loving 2:35 on my wife and and my family that I have 2:37 and and not missing out on on that I'm 2:40 24 and I'm trying to enjoy it
